Tailored Northwest

The design direction for this home prioritized materials with a timeless quality, favoring those that have long felt at home in the Pacific Northwest. Rather than leaning into passing trends, the focus remained on creating a home with a more classic sense of sophistication.

Outside, red brick, muted earth tones, and cedar accents were chosen for their ability to age gracefully within the landscape. Together, these materials set the tone for a home that feels well established and connected to its surroundings.

Walnut cabinetry became an anchor throughout the interior, serving as the foundation for the home’s material palette. Its natural richness carries the design, allowing other finishes to take a more understated, supportive role. Modern lighting selections introduce a sculptural element, creating moments of interest without adding excess. The result is a less-is-more approach, where fewer elements can have greater impact and restraint becomes a strength in design.
