Refined Rustic Ranch
Set on private acreage with uninterrupted views of Mount Hood, the vision for this custom home was to create a refined interpretation of a classic craftsman—one that felt grounded in tradition but elevated through thoughtful materiality.
Expansive vaults and carefully considered sightlines draw the Pacific Northwest landscape into the experience of the home, while contemporary accents and immersive, moody spaces introduce a contemporary sophistication. The result is a home that feels both rooted and forward-thinking—deeply connected to its surroundings while embracing a more modern point of view.
Warm wood tones, striking grain patterns, and surfaces with natural movement lend an organic quality throughout. Rich black accents, reeded textures, and statement lighting introduce a layer of intentional contrast. Each material was chosen to balance rustic authenticity with modern restraint, resulting in a home that feels layered, elevated, yet comfortably livable—a true reflection of refined rustic design.
